It's a birthday morning so you know our routine! We have three missions to complete: Hide presents inside the house, decorate for the birthday boy, and surprise him with balloons in bed to start the day off amazing! Adley is helping Jenny and I when we hear a noise from upstairs. Could it be birthday boy Niko?!! Adley and I go to investigate and discover Niko is still asleep but Navey is slowly waking up. We go into her room, help her out of bed and we all head downstairs. Now with Adley and Navey helping, we can hide all the presents that much faster.
With everything all set, we grab as many balloons as we can carry and head upstairs. Niko is already awake and waiting for us but has the biggest smile on his face! Happy Birthday Niko!! I can't believe you are already 5 years old!! After a big group bear hug, its time for niko to find all his gifts! We run downstairs and he finds a present from Adley, she got him some Minecraft socks and a Spiderman stretchy toy. Next, he sees a strange clear container up on the fridge that looks almost like a bug catching kit.
At first it just looks like there is dirt in there but then he sees them, roly poly bugs!! Niko is obsessed with bugs and thats when he sees the big gift! A brand new bug terrarium! He is stoked and can't wait to put his new bug friends inside. But first, he wants to find more bugs in the house. He's so smart because we have two more bug gift for him. He finds Orange roly poly's in the kitchen and little baby stick bugs in the bathroom. We take a small break from our game of hide n seek with the present so that we can hold the bugs, look at them, and put them in their brand new home.
After we get them some food, a half a strawberry to help them grow big and strong, the hunt is on for more gifts. Niko finds a lizard toy in the sink, pirate sand for his room in the pantry, and rocket balloons from Olive and Koopa over by their dog kennels! With all his presents opened and unboxed ( he got lots of Minecraft and Marvel stuff this year) we head out to the backyard to launch these balloon.
Niko launches the first one to celebrate his birthday! Adley's first lunches waaay high, but lands in our neighbors backyard, hello!! The kiddos think the tramoline looks like a lunching pad, so they jump on it while sending the balloons flying. Adley wants to try launching it a balloon in the skatepark, and it works! its like a skateboarding balloon baby doing tricks lol! We launch a few more before we need to get breakfast and start getting ready for Niko's birthday Party at Pirate Island!
While we are eating breakfast, Alli comes over to help with the party but she brought a present for the birthday boy! She got him real life minecraft!! She painted tons of blocks to that he can play Minecraft with grass, lava, gold, mushrooms, and sand! She even got him TNT to so he can demo adley's house hahahaha! It's such a great gift, after breakfast, Adley and Niko start playing!
With our birthday morning routing done, we go to pirate island to finish setting up Niko's party. We are going to pretend play that niko and his friends jump through a portal into a survival Minecraft server. They have to gather materials so the can me pick axes and sword cause their are mobs and creepers walking around (the guys from our apps team and G for Gaming channel are helping us out, love the pretend play) They also need to defeat the Ender Dragon in order to win the game! But you can check it all out on the A for Adley channel!
Its starts to rain like crazy, but just at the perfect time cause, they finish playing Minecraft IRL and its time for cake and presents!! Niko digs into his minecraft cake while he gets some more minecraft toys, a little candy, and an awesome leather jacket and sunglasses to match his buddy Canaan! After a small water balloon battle with mom and Adley, he head home to make forts and a baby animal zoo in the basement to end this amazing birthday Best Day Ever!!
