HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE vloggy!! It's the last vlog of 2022 and we are making it the Best Day Ever as always! Adley and Niko Bear have made an amazing fort out of the blocks they got as gift from Santa for Christmas. We have filled the entire for with smiley face balloons. That's tons of fun all by itself, but Adley ( who is in charge of tonight's party), has put challenges inside each balloon for the family to do. Once and hour, we will pop the balloon and see what we need to do.
Navey and Niko work together to pop the first balloon, smashing it till it pops and the challenge paper goes flying. Our very first challenge is to play keepy uppy with a balloon. The kiddos and us parents are running all over the basement, trying to keep this balloon in the air. As we play, it evolves into keepy uppy the floor is lava challenge, then even harder when Adley turns into a lava monster and we have to play keep away from her.
Navey needs a small little break to head upstairs for a bowl of cool whip, here favorite thing. While we are in the kitchen getting that, we rewind to our family trip to the dollar store, where we went to get everything for our party and challenges. We found arts and craft supplies as well as party hats. Adley scored a goal in somones shopping cart, niko sprayed water everywhere. Navey set up caution cones and Jenny locked us out of her car!! It was wild, but so much fun.
It's time for another challenge. Adley pops this balloon and reads that its time to play a game called cook the kids. Dad is the chef, our giant bean bag is an oven (next to our brand new couch, isn't it nice?), and the kiddos are all the ingredients i need to make Jenny a delicious meal. Speaking of meals, we need to go to my mom's house for dinner. Everyone, in the car!!
At my mom's, Aldey and Niko Bear are playing pretend play with their cousin. They are playing rocket ship and the floor is lava. They are playing our app, Adley's playspace, while the parents play a card game with my sisters. We pop another balloon and find out the challange is to play a new game of cops and robbers, oh boy!
It's almost midnight and some how, all the kids besides Navey are still awake. We watch the ball drop in Time Square then run outside, hitting pots and pans, and celebrating the start of a new year!! We hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve and can't wait to spend 2023 with you!!
