Let's chat about the challenge of recruiting volunteers in children's ministry. In this video, I discuss the ongoing struggle of finding and retaining volunteers in children's ministry. I share my personal experience of dealing with this issue throughout my 15-year career. Although the lack of volunteers in the church you're currently in may be due to a recent split, I believe it's a common problem regardless. My suggestion is to create a children's council team and have them brainstorm a list of potential volunteers. Then, invite these individuals for coffee and clearly communicate the expectations of the role. Creating job descriptions and having face-to-face conversations are key in finding and keeping volunteers. #childrensministry #kidmin #churchleadership
