During my time working in various churches, I have witnessed differing approaches to diaper changing. In some churches, like the ones I have served, diapers are changed as soon as they are wet. In fact, we even utilized tiny pink stickers to signal when a diaper had been changed, affixing them discreetly on the child's diaper. This simple act brought reassurance to parents, ensuring they would not have to pick up their child with a wet or dirty diaper before getting into the car.
One crucial aspect that cannot be overlooked is the training and protocols in place for nursery staff. Only the paid nursery staff may change diapers in some churches, primarily due to their attendance at diaper training sessions. These sessions serve as helpful reminders for staff to maintain cleanliness, remember proper techniques, and use gloves for the safety and well-being of both the child and the nursery workers.
Every channel needs to have guiding principles and this channel is no exception.
